Who this policy applies to

This Privacy Policy explains how WallsToWonder (“we”, “us” or “our”) handles personal data when you use our website, applications, marketplace, dashboards, communications and AI-powered tools (the “Platform”). WallsToWonder is the entity responsible for the processing described here unless another notice states otherwise.

It applies to customers, visitors, designers, design companies, account holders and people who contact us. It should be read with our Terms of Use and Cookie Policy.

02

Information we collect

  • Account and contact data: name, email, phone number, city, address, authentication identifiers and communication preferences.
  • Professional and business data: company details, portfolio, services, credentials, verification information, tax details and subscription status.
  • Content and communications: photos, project details, reviews, messages, enquiries, support requests and feedback.
  • Transaction data: plan, amount, payment status, invoice and payment-provider reference. Payment providers process full card, bank or UPI credentials; we do not ordinarily store full payment credentials.
  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser, device, approximate location, pages viewed, interactions, referral information, diagnostics and security logs.
  • Connected services: information supplied by sign-in, social or other integrations according to your settings with those providers.
03

AI tools, uploads and generated content

Our AI features may process room photographs, floor plans, quotations, documents, prompts, preferences, chat messages and generated results. These inputs can reveal faces, possessions, addresses, budgets or other personal and confidential details.

  • Only upload content you are authorised to use and remove unnecessary personal or confidential details where practical.
  • We process inputs to provide the requested tool, maintain history where enabled, prevent abuse, diagnose failures and improve product performance.
  • Inputs and outputs may be processed by hosting, storage and AI infrastructure providers acting for us. We require appropriate contractual and security safeguards.
  • We do not use private AI inputs for unrelated advertising. If we materially change how inputs are used for model training, we will update this notice and obtain consent where required.
04

How we use information

  • provide accounts, profiles, AI tools, estimates, subscriptions, purchases and customer support;
  • match customers with professionals and share enquiries or project requirements with relevant interior designers and companies;
  • personalise content, remember settings and improve usability;
  • process payments, maintain transaction records and prevent fraud;
  • measure performance and improve features using analytics;
  • send security, service, transaction and requested communication updates;
  • send marketing where permitted, with an available opt-out; and
  • enforce our terms, protect users, investigate abuse and comply with law.
05

Why we process information

Depending on the context and applicable law, we process information to perform a contract or provide a service you requested, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate interests such as security and product improvement, respond to legal claims, or based on consent.

Where processing relies on consent—including advertising cookies or precise device location—you may withdraw it. Withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully completed.

06

How we disclose information

  • Professionals and paid lead recipients: when you request a quote, expert match, consultation or professional contact, we may share your name, phone number, email, city, property or room details, budget, timeline, uploaded project information and stated requirements with relevant interior designers or companies. WallsToWonder may charge those professionals a subscription, lead-access fee, referral fee or another commercial fee for receiving or responding to the enquiry.
  • Infrastructure and operations: database, hosting, storage, authentication, email, communications, customer-support and AI service providers.
  • Payments: Razorpay or the payment provider shown at checkout.
  • Analytics and advertising: Google Analytics and Meta technologies only according to available consent choices.
  • Legal and safety: authorities, advisers or affected parties where reasonably necessary to meet law, prevent harm, investigate fraud or protect rights.
  • Business changes: a buyer, investor or successor during a restructuring, financing or sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice requirements.

This paid lead-sharing model means customer enquiry information has commercial value and may be disclosed to paying professional participants. We do not authorise recipients to use an enquiry for unrelated purposes or to resell it. Service providers that operate the Platform may process data only for agreed services and under their own legal obligations.

07

Public profiles, projects and reviews

Professional profiles, business listings, public project images, names, cities, services, badges, ratings and reviews may appear publicly and may be indexed by search engines. Do not publish personal information that you do not want publicly visible.

Images and other portfolio content uploaded by a designer, design company or authorised account may be selected, resized, formatted and displayed on the WallsToWonder Platform and on WallsToWonder’s social-media, marketing and promotional channels to promote that professional’s profile, featured work or WallsToWonder. The uploader retains ownership and confirms that they have the rights and permissions needed for this use, including permission from clients, photographers and identifiable people where required.

A professional may request that a specific promotional use be stopped or removed by emailing info@wallstowonder.com. We will address valid requests within a reasonable period, but removal may not affect material already printed, lawfully reshared by others or retained for legal and archival purposes.

Private messages, unpublished AI inputs and account details are not intended to be public. Customer enquiries may be shared with selected or relevant professionals, including paying professional participants, so they can contact the customer about the stated interior-design requirement.

08

Cookies and tracking technologies

We use essential browser storage for security, sessions and preferences. Google Analytics storage is currently active from the first visit for usage and performance measurement. Meta Pixel and advertising storage remain blocked unless advertising permission is granted.

For categories, providers, purposes and durations, read our Cookie Policy. Clearing browser storage may reset your saved choice.

09

Retention and security

We retain information only while reasonably needed for the purpose collected, account operation, dispute handling, fraud prevention and legal, accounting or tax requirements. Retention varies by record: account information normally lasts for the account’s life; transaction records may be kept for statutory periods; security logs and backups are retained for limited operational cycles.

We use access controls, encryption in transit, provider safeguards, monitoring and backups appropriate to the nature and risk of the data. No online service is completely secure. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised account access.

10

Your rights and choices

  • request access to or a copy of personal data we hold about you;
  • request correction, completion, erasure or account closure;
  • withdraw consent or object to certain processing where applicable, including asking us to stop sharing an active enquiry with additional professionals;
  • unsubscribe from marketing while continuing to receive necessary service messages;
  • change optional cookie choices by clearing the saved consent and reopening the Platform; and
  • raise a grievance and use applicable statutory complaint or nomination rights.

Email info@wallstowonder.com. We may verify identity and authority before completing a request. Some information may be retained where legally required or necessary to establish, exercise or defend claims.

11

Children and international transfers

The Platform is intended for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly invite children to create accounts. If you believe a child has submitted personal data, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate.

Some service providers may process data outside India or your country. Where required, we use contractual, technical and organisational safeguards and follow restrictions issued under applicable data-protection law.

12

Policy updates and contact

We may update this notice when our services, providers or legal obligations change. The date at the top will show the latest revision, and we will provide additional notice for material changes where required.
