Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored by a website in your browser. WallsToWonder also uses related technologies such as local storage, pixels, tags and software-development-kit storage. In this policy, “cookies” refers to these technologies together.
They can keep you signed in, protect accounts, remember settings, measure how the Platform works and—only with the relevant choice—support campaign measurement and advertising.
Your consent choices
On a browser without a saved preference, WallsToWonder presents a cookie choice panel. You can:
- Accept all to allow analytics and advertising measurement;
- No advertising to keep advertising technologies disabled; or
- Settings to review the available choice.
Google Analytics is currently active for usage and performance measurement. Advertising storage remains denied unless you permit advertising, and Meta Pixel remains blocked unless advertising is allowed. Essential technologies support requested Platform services.
Essential storage
Essential storage supports authentication, account security, load management, fraud prevention, checkout, service continuity and your saved cookie preference. Disabling it through browser settings may prevent sign-in, purchases or other Platform features.
Our authentication and database provider may use browser storage to maintain a secure session. Payment providers may also use necessary security technologies when you open or complete checkout.
Analytics technologies
We use Google Analytics to understand page visits, navigation, feature engagement, device/browser information and general product performance. Analytics storage is currently active from the first visit, and we configure Google Analytics with IP anonymisation where supported.
Analytics helps us diagnose problems and decide what to improve. Advertising remains a separate choice and is not required to use core Platform features.
Advertising technologies
With advertising permission, Meta Pixel may measure whether campaigns lead to visits or selected actions and may help Meta provide attribution or audiences according to its own policies and your Meta settings.
We do not load Meta Pixel through our consent controls unless advertising permission is present. Rejecting advertising does not prevent core Platform use.
Provider and duration guide
Exact cookie names and durations can change when providers update their services. This table describes the technologies currently expected from our Platform:
| Provider / technology | Category | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| WallsToWonder platform services | Essential | Authentication, security, session continuity and saved preferences | Session or service-defined |
| wtw_cookie_consent | Essential | Stores your optional-cookie choices | Until cleared or replaced |
| Google Analytics | Analytics | Measures visits, navigation and product performance | Google-defined; commonly up to 2 years |
| Meta Pixel | Advertising | Campaign measurement, attribution and advertising audiences | Meta-defined; commonly up to 3 months |
| Payment provider | Essential at checkout | Fraud prevention, payment security and transaction completion | Provider-defined |
Third-party durations are controlled by the relevant provider and may vary by browser, location, account state or provider updates.
How to change your choices
- Use the choice panel when it appears to allow or reject optional advertising.
- To make the panel appear again, clear the wtw_cookie_consent site data in your browser and reload WallsToWonder.
- You can also block or delete cookies through browser settings. Blocking essential storage may affect sign-in and checkout.
- Google provides an Analytics opt-out add-on. Meta provides advertising controls through its own account settings.
Changing your advertising choice affects future advertising measurement on that browser. It does not automatically remove reporting created before the change.
Updates and contact
We may update this policy when providers, technologies or legal requirements change. The updated date will appear at the top. Material changes to optional tracking will be reflected in the consent experience where required.
